Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You are a key expert in driving Circular Economy principles relevant to the definition/design, supply and manufacturing of sustainable components and products including durability, refurbishability, extended lifetime, secondary material use, recyclability, recycled content etc.
- You support the definition of, drive and measure success of Circular Economy initiatives and KPIs for Siemens Healthineers as part of our Sustainability and Circularity Program and can operationalise these initiatives, supporting business teams with implementation
- You will organise projects and guide cross-functional teams to achieve Siemens Healthineers’ Circular Economy objectives, collaborating with R&D teams and other stakeholders in the business as well as Procurement and Manufacturing to develop design requirements and process changes for SCM in line with environmental regulatory requirements and company sustainability targets
- You prepare and support Circular Economy and Sustainability reporting requirements, e.g. data for CSRD /ESRS, PPWR and EU Taxonomy, and text for the annual Healthineers Sustainability Report
- You collaborate with our regulatory and policy experts to monitor and respond to external regulatory proposals and updates as well as trends and indicators coming from customers, investors, NGOs and the public, taking responsibility for the global evaluation and impact assessment of product related regulations and standards relating to Circular Economy
- You support our company representatives in trade association environmental working groups in Europe, providing technical knowledge and linking the internal work on Circular Economy with any external work to ensure professional and appropriate representations to environmental authorities

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have successfully completed studies; ideally in the field of Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or comparable; additional qualifications in Sustainability or Business Management is preferred
- You have long-term professional experience in product related Circular Economy requirements and/or EcoDesign and in analysing regulations against impact, detailed requirements, and ways to comply
- You have experience in working with R&D and other technical stakeholders to implement design requirements
- You have experience in working with sustainability data tooling solutions and/or LifeCycle Analysis calculations
- You have experience as a representative in industry associations, and experience in liaising with regulators and authorities
- You have profound experience in the electronics industry, preferably in the Medical Device Sector and in leading and supporting global teams and initiatives across functions and business areas

- You own it: You are passionate about Sustainability and environmental protection with the ability to persuade and engage others by being emphatic, trustworthy, integer and interculturally sensitive
- You possess proven analytical and critical thinking skills, creativity, problem solving, and implementation skills as well as a strong skillset for strategy development and deployment
- You consistently exhibit a proactive approach with the idea to find solutions that fit the demands of Siemens Healthineers as well as external parties
- You know how to operationalise strategic ideas, translating these into process changes
- Your ability to guide and develop cross-functional (virtual) teams and a culture in a dynamic environment, allows you to accompany through change without authority
- You have excellent communication skills (target group specific) in English
