As a Project Manager (f/m/d) Global Procurement Projects at Siemens Energy, you will drive strategic procurement initiatives and implement cutting-edge tools and processes across our worldwide locations. You will improve procurement efficiency, drive our mission, and deliver outstanding value to our customers, while collaborating with diverse teams and departments.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead global strategic procurement projects and ensure their successful implementation across diverse locations
- Coordinate overarching procurement topics across all our global locations
- Actively participate as a project member in cross-departmental global projects (e.g. IT, Industrial Engineering, Production etc.) contributing your expertise to drive world-class results
- Ensure procurement activities are completed flawlessly, meeting all set objectives and timelines
- Implement new tools and processes in headquarters and various locations, ensuring strict adherence to standard methodologies and achieving ambitious goals
- Determine the most effective strategies for cost management, supplier relationships, and risk mitigation
What You Bring
- A Master's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business informatics or business administration
- Several years of management experience in operational or strategic procurement within a large multinational company
- Proven track record in leading global procurement teams with a focus on achieving outstanding results
- Experience in the transmission business is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and tools
- Willingness to travel as needed to support global project requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
