Responsibility:
- Driving the development and implementation of digitalization strategies and initiatives to enable the factories' digital transformation journeys
- Coordinating and aligning digitalization efforts across the different factory locations and central functions (such as Sales, Customer Service, QM) to ensure consistency and maximize impact
- Identifying opportunities for digitalization and automation to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality across manufacturing operations
- Leading complex digitalization projects from initiation to completion in a worldwide cross-functional setup, while ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives within agreed timelines and budgets
- Serving as a subject matter expert and providing guidance to factory teams on the selection, deployment, and optimization of digital technologies and solutions
- Collaborating with IT, operations and other key stakeholders to define requirements, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure successful project delivery
- Sharing best practices, lessons learned, and success stories to promote knowledge sharing and the adoption of effective digitalization approaches
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in (preferably complex discrete) manufacturing/operations, or corresponding digitalization roles, with a strong track record of leading successful transformation projects
- Deep understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and digital manufacturing concepts, including automation, data analytics, IIoT, and AI/ML
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex, global initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and navigating cultural differences
- Fluency in English and German
