Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
You independently develop reusable analysis models, configure and implement algorithms, select optimal tools and define visualization methods/tools for presenting results
You are also responsible for exploratory, process-related or textual data analysis in high dimensions and high volume
You develop and test prototypes independently in an industrial environment and validate and communicate results to answer business-relevant questions
You are responsible for maintaining a network of business experts to understand business analytics requirements and identify data-driven business opportunities
You validate, operationalize and maintain these models on a data analysis platform
You coordinate and guide collaboration with data scientists in other parts of the organization

Your qualifications and experience:
You have a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, physics or electrical engineering
You have many years of professional experience in the field of data exploration and data science as well as project management experience
You have a deep knowledge of technologies, algorithms and methods in the fields of big data analytics, data mining, machine learning and natural language processing
You have profound experience with exploratory analysis and the data-based validation of assumptions and models
You are an expert in big data analytics and analytics with structured and unstructured data
Ideally, you have experience with corresponding cloud technologies
You have very strong knowledge in the application and extension of analysis tools and systems, e.g. Python, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake or similar data analysis workbenches
Ideally, you have experience and specialist knowledge of medical devices
Your attributes and skills:
You work in an international environment and are therefore fluent in English
Through your analytical precision and the application of statistical methods, you contribute to optimizing products and understanding customer behavior
You have a deep understanding of customer requirements and are able to contribute to their fulfillment with pragmatic data-driven approaches
Due to your very good presentation and communication skills, you are able to present technical and business-relevant insights at different levels of the organization
