We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Partner with a keen interest in innovation and product management to become an integral part of our team.
You will collaborate with technical teams to support global business initiatives, emphasizing financial aspects of product development and lifecycle management.
You will be responsible for handling the commercial aspects of assigned departments and coordinating the R&D process for the controls & digitalization business, as a trusted partner to the technical teams.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Financial Planning and Insight: Oversee financial planning and ensure accurate reporting and control of important metrics for new product and solution development, as well as ongoing maintenance. Transform data into meaningful insights to optimize innovation spending and drive value.
- Investment Management: Evaluate and manage business cases for innovation-related investments.
- R&D Management: Coordination of the R&D process and acting as an interface between technical partners and Gas Services Product Management.
- Financial Management: Coordinate the allocation of budgets and monitor the financial performance within various cost centers to maintain financial integrity and responsibility across multiple locations.
- Contract Management: Draft and manage contracts and service level agreements in accordance with the financial guidelines.
- Process Optimization: Improve transparency, simplification, automation, and optimization of structures and processes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Several years of experience in Finance, preferred in Innovation and Product Management, Commercial Project Management or Controlling, ideally experienced in a Siemens Energy or Siemens environment.
- Familiarity with MS Office and reporting tools, proficiency in smart tools is advantageous.
- Proficient in English and fluent in German.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues independently and great teammate with excellent communication skills.
- Encourages creative thinking and developing smarter solutions.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
