Then come and join our team as the Corporate Sustainability Controller (f/m/d) to support driving the development and expansion of sustainability reporting ("non-financial reporting") to meet current and future internal reporting requirements and ensure the sustainability positioning of Siemens Healthineers.
Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
With your in-depth understanding of operational Business Controlling, you set the scene for step-up of reporting needs end-to-end, define and establish necessary reporting structures (e. g. responsibilities, processes, content, frequency, tools) and enhance the internal sustainability-reporting towards management and stakeholders
You will establish and ensure robust data management and analysis of non-financial KPIs (e.g. definition and development of an IT landscape for non-financial performance controlling)
You will establish a sustainability reporting and controlling network across Siemens Healthineers Functions, Business Areas/ Business Lines, Horizontals, and countries and actively driving internal reporting quality and accuracy
You will provide active support for the data collection process and the implementation of relevant controls for sustainability metrics
You will support to establish sustainable and audit-proof non-financial reporting in accordance with GRI, CSRD/ESRS and other international frameworks and standards
You will prepare documentation for internal reporting and for the board
You will support to prepare responses to ESG ratings & rankings as well as external inquiries and questions
Your qualifications and experience:
You have successfully completed studies in the field of management / business administration / information technology / environmental sciences / economics
You have many years of professional experience in working on cross-organizational processes or projects, ideally in a global setting, driving decisions and implementing change
You have long-term professional experience in leading IT-projects, incl. business transformation related projects
You have expertise in turning reporting standards, business needs and emerging frameworks into operation
You have comprehensive experience with different IT landscapes, databases and dashboards (e.g. Snowflake, Microsoft 365, Power BI, etc.)
A high level of affinity and curiosity about technical contexts and IT-topics (e.g. data management, tool implementation, internal IT-controls) is part of your DNA
You are result oriented, have a 'hands-on’ mentality to get things done and be ready for pioneer work and agile working mode
You have strong project management, organizational and communicative skills with a consistent record in developing and driving business- and people-centric programs are your strengths
Your attributes and skills:
You have fluent English and good German language skills
You possess proven analytical and critical thinking skills, creativity and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks
You are a passionate thought leader in sustainability with the ability to persuade and engage others by being authentic, empathetic and trustworthy. You consistently exhibit sustainability values in all interactions with internals and externals
You have the ability to create and visualize decision proposals, presentations and training materials
You are able to guide and develop cross-functional(virtual) teams in a dynamic environment
