Do you feel inspired in the environment of research for clinical trials?
In the role as Clinical Contracts Manager (m/f/d) you`ll work closely with the project, people, and functional leaders across Clinical Development and Medical Affairs (CDMA), Procurement, Legal, Finance and Suppliers to ensure appropriate contracts are in place for CDMA projects of our client from the diagnostic sector located in Rotkreuz.

Your Tasks:

  • The CDMA Contract Manager proactively drives the process and continuous improvement of all contractual agreements across CDMA, including facilitation of negotiations; close collaborations with Legal, Finance and Procurement; and management of all ongoing contracts
  • Drafts, reviews and negotiates clinical trial agreements (Master Service Agreements, Work Orders, and Clinical Trial Agreements) and site budgets with US and ex-US institutions
  • Evaluate changes in study protocols to determine the impact on clinical trial site budgets; develop, negotiate, and finalize budget amendments
  • Provide continuing support on executed agreements (e.g., drafting amendments, extensions, and terminations, interpreting contractual language in response to issues or questions that arise)
  • Work closely and communicate with members of the Lifecycle Finance teams and other internal stakeholders; provide timely updates on contract and site budget status’, identifying and escalating any potential critical path items as appropriate
  • Track, maintain, and update assigned contract information within the CDMA tracking tools, to ensure completeness and accuracy, as applicable
  • Other tasks may be assigned from time to time to support the overall CDMA function
  • Adherence to regulations, guidelines, and standard operating procedures, and ensuring contract compliance
  • Oversees contracts to ensure completion on time
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional leaders, and key internal and external stakeholders, including Legal, Procurement, and Finance, in meeting business goals and ensuring operational excellence

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business and/or equivalent degree
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical trials in the research fields
  • Min. 1 year of experience with contracts
  • MS Office & Gsuite experience
  • Excellent english language skills, German is desired
  • Independent & self driven worker
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, matrix organization
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
