Business Development Manager (f/m/d) for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify strategies, trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, industry partners, and regulatory bodies
• Identify new business opportunities and develop a robust pipeline of potential projects to hand over to sales
• Work closely with internal teams, including sales, research & development, engineering, and project execution, to develop and deliver compelling BESS solutions
• Lead the development of partnership and collaboration agreements, including technical and commercial aspects, to enable new business
• Represent Siemens Energy at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance market presence and thought leadership
• Share insights and knowledge on market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements

What You Bring

• Completed Master's degree in business administration, industrial engineering or electrical engineering
• Long-term working experience in business development, preferably in battery energy storage, the power sector or renewable energy
• Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities
• Technical knowledge in the field of battery energy storage will be an absolute plus
• Willingness for international travel and visits to customers sites for up to 30%
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively across country borders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with customers and internal top management
• Proficiency in English, additional languages are an upside
